When Universal Studios needed a screen-accurate costume for the full-size animatronic of Hagrid, they called on LOLO to deliver cinematic authenticity with real-world practicality. Drawing on our film costume expertise, we recreated the beloved character’s iconic look down to the finest detail—including a bespoke dragon-scale gauntlet—while ensuring it could withstand Florida’s heat, humidity, and hurricanes. Our CCO even visited the animatronic factory to collaborate on-site, ensuring seamless integration with the robotic build. The result? An unforgettable character moment that blurs the line between theme park and movie magic—brought to life by LOLO.
